How sophisticated? Try a convolution kernel 100s of pixels on a side. That means that when EVD enhances a pixel, more than 10,000 of its nearest neighbors are evaluated.

And shadows are just part of the picture: every video frame is enhanced using locally-adaptive, real-time technology so you'll see details typically lost in over-bright areas of the image, too. In fact, the processor may be configured to "even-out" background extremes, making details stand out like never before.
